Just an unrelated reminder to anyone reading who is thinking of trying whippits: How to avoid nastiness with N2O:

DON'T:

Try to inhale N20 directly from the little cannisters, or fire the cannisters off at other individuals or pets. The escaping gas will give nasty freeze-burns. Use a balloon and a discharger.
Strap a gas mask to your face.
Lock your self in a room, closet, car (or refrigerator) with a tank of nitrous and open it, -- unless the room is well ventilated and your intent is to waste the gas, of course.
PLEASE don't stand up and do it. You'll give us all a bad reputation after you fall and die.
